Yes of course! Everyone that joins us will be given a chance to experience theatre during their time with us. SIT Theatre welcomes students with or without experience to join.

Club sessions are usually held at MPR @ Student Activity Center, SIT @ Dover*, on Wednesdays, tentatively from 8pm till 9:30pm. *Due to COVID-19, physical sessions are gradaully resuming with some restrictions/guidlines in place. Do contact us for more information.

If you are unable to come for a session, inform the exco members through the club's group chat! We understand that on some days our members would have unexpected situations or events that might affect their ability to attend the session. Do not worry and just let us know.

We recommend our members to come in a comfortable attire to move around in, as theatre sessions usually invovles expression through movement, thus its is recommended to wear a black t-shirt and shorts/long pants (no skirts/dresses for girls).

As students at SIT, our club understand that some courses have a lot of deadlines to meet as the examinations are nearing. Sessions usually run from Week 1 to Week 10/11 of the trimester tentatively and will continue after our members have completed their exams.

We recommend our members to join us for every session that is held weekly as different items are being conducted every week, but if you are unable to come every week, you are still welcome to join our club. Just let the exco members know beforehand, if you are unable to attend that week's session.

Yes of course, we do not force members to stay if they find that the club is not suitable for them after joining for a few sessions. However, we do hope that everyone who joins us can stay with us as long as possible and develop with the club as part of their student life in SIT.
